TAMAT Inset Day - February 2025

Inset Success
Following the half-term break, we were delighted to come together as a TAMAT family for our biannual shared INSET with 250+ teaching and support staff from our Surrey Heath and Dorking schools.
Supporting children in their learning is one of the most rewarding jobs, but is equally challenging as we endeavour to meet the needs and do the best for each unique child. Our TAMAT staff are amazing and certainly can’t work any harder, but as a group of schools we are focusing on refining our pedagogy through the WalkThrus approach, to make small changes which will have the greatest impact.
Supporting teacher development to ensure our schools have the most effective practitioners is a priority and TAMAT is committed to investing in the professional development of all our staff. Led by Emma Elliot WalkThru Trainer / SAfE Teaching and Learning Consultant, the INSET provided an opportunity to reflect on researched strategies and to extend expertise through an ongoing coaching approach.
It was great to work in partnership with ACS Egham School and to enjoy the comfort and facilities of Camberley Theatre.
